Maya Black was once human and a police woman that hunted vampires. That was until one night when a hunt went very wrong and Maya was changed forever into the very demon she hunted. Now, Maya is still hunting vampires while being a vampire herself - one that all creatures of the night fear.

Adam Brody has always considered vampires to be parasites, but right now he is in need of a particular vampire to help him find his nine year old niece before the evil vamps that took her kill her. Adam needs Maya's help, but he too has secrets and he is not sure he can trust Maya with them. After all, can one really trust a vampire?

The more Maya and Adam get to know each other the more they realize they have deep feelings for each other, but can a man with secrets and a vampire make it in love? And can they find the child before the vampires that took her kill her?

Cynthia Eden brings lots of paranormal creatures to life in Immortal Danger making this book a real page turner for me if for nothing else but to find out what the heck Adam was! There are clues along the way and, if you are a savvy reader, you might find out before I did. There is hot sex, action and adventure in Immortal Danger and I loved the blend of humanity with the demon in Maya. She has to come to terms with what she has become and what it means for her. I thought her character was thoughtfully done. I hope to read more like Immortal Danger from Cynthia Eden in the future. I know Immortal Danger will be a novel I won't forget any time soon.
