Rupert is falling under a deadline, and it's much closer than he'd expected. Cursed because of his wild ways by the brother of one of his lovers, Rupert thought he had four more years to find true love but now discovers he has only until the Winter Solstice. Should he not discover true love by that point, he will no longer be in white stag form during the days, but permanently, with no chance to return to human mode. His new neighbor seems like his only chance; for certain she is beauteous and sexy, but more than that is required to save him. She photographs him daily in his stag form, marveling over him, but somehow he must introduce himself to her as a man, and she must fall in love with him. Soon it will be too late to save him from the curse. Solstice Spell is an endearing romantic paranormal tale with an intriguing new twist. It combines elements of magic and shape-shifting with fascinating characters. Rupert and Gillian are endearing and the reader will hope for their very best happily-ever-after. Rupert shows excellent signs of emotional maturity following the wildness of his youth, which resulted in his curse. Mechele Armstrong pens another winner in Solstice Spell.
