Nine friends at a science fiction convention find themselves in a fantasy world, which is familiar to them as resembling their favorite television series. Touching a Wishstone has brought them to this land and now they need to learn how to adjust.

They find themselves in a war torn land, where immortal royal siblings constantly feud with each other, bringing about endless strife to a land ruled by a queen who does not take the war seriously. She feels that they’re just getting out their frustrations and the love of good women will force them to settle down.

Can these modern Earthlings dropped into an unfamiliar and technologically backward land learn to adjust to their new lives and the magic they now possess? 

The writing team of Jean Marie Ward and the late Teri Smith have penned a fantastic fantasy novel. The complexities of modern women suddenly thrust into a fantasy world were explored in a very realistic way. The world seemed very full and well developed. I can only hope that Ms. Ward will craft more tales set in this world.
