Alexa Robbins is an independent, modern woman. Sebastian Law is a powerfully built man at work she can’t stop thinking about. Unfortunately, Sebastian never seems to pay attention to her. He looks like a GQ cover model.

One day when he catches her fantasizing about him, she discovers he has noticed her and that he thinks she’s sexy and smart. Just when things are really looking good between them, an old flame of Sebastian’s shows up and tries to take him away. Will Alexa win the battle for Sebastian’s heart?

The 18th Floor by Margie Church is a fast paced and hotter than sin book. Alexa is strong, knows what she wants, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She goes after what she wants whether it’s about business or her pleasure. Alexa also likes being dominated by her partner.

Sebastian is a strong and dominant man who loves everything about Alexa; she’s the one he has been waiting for all of his life. Sebastian and Alexa have some hot and steamy dominance/submission scenes which are really off-the-charts hot and sexy. I love how their love was present even in those scenes. I also like how fierce and independent Alexa is and how protective Sebastian is about her too.

Sebastian and Alexa are meant to be together, that is if they can stop an old flame from messing up the works. I really enjoyed this venture into the lives of these fun-loving characters and was sorry to see their story end. I highly recommend this book for those who like a little spice in their romance.
