Ganymede’s Grotto is a gay swingers’ club with erotic dancers. Scott has been dragged there by his partner Logan, a serious user. Once again, Logan is determined to trap Scott in participating in unwanted activity, in this case a ménage a trois. After seven years, Logan should realize differently, but Scott’s own emotional inertia doesn’t allow him to propel himself out of the relationship. Now, however, someone has finally caught his eye and his attention, and of all the potential possibilities, that someone is a gorgeous, slinky dancer billed only as Eros. Scott is astounded when Eros begins chatting him up at the bar, while he’s hunting the missing Logan, and calls Scott the hot one. Chatting with Keegan, which is Eros’ real name, in between the latter’s handling of the bar makes Scott realize how much more at ease he is with him than he had ever been in seven years with Logan. But Scott and Keegan each carry a tremendous amount of emotional baggage, and although the attraction, and the mutual respect, is immediate, they’ll have a difficult road ahead of them, if they intend to come together and make a relationship successful. Once again, Ally Blue delivers a stunning tale which will bring tears of joy and compassion to the reader’s eyes. Scott and Keegan, as well as the secondary characters, are well-fleshed out, and through them Ms. Blue her excellent understanding of the individuals who populate her stories. Eros Rising takes its well-deserved spot on the Keeper shelf, as it is truly another powerful tale from the excellent pen of Ally Blue.
