Razer Willis is a model who is growing tired of modeling. When he refuses to let a big named photographer do him after a photo shoot he knows he’s messed up badly. Razer is tortured by memories of an ex-lover who abused him; he doesn’t think he will ever get past it.
Blake Myers is Razer’s best friend and his on again-off again lover. Blake thinks Razer should sell his art work, but Razer thinks without connections it won’t sell. When Blake signs Razer up for “Male Order,” he thinks Blake has lost his mind. It is an exclusive BDSM service for people who have problems in the lifestyle.
Trenton Masters lives with Dyson Withers but Dyson merely tolerates being a sub and Trenton wants more. When Dyson buys Trenton a membership to “Male Order,” he knows Trenton needs more than he is currently getting and he wants Trenton to be happy.
When Razer and Trenton meet, they realize they are meant to be together. But can they each come to terms with their past before it drives them apart for good?
Male Order by Cassandre Dayne is a really powerful story. Ms. Dayne brings passion and angst together and wrote a story I will not soon forget.
Razer is passionate, he’s vulnerable, and he is tough, all at the same time. Trenton is tough; he likes to give orders but has a heart that shines through everything he does. Together, they are what the other needs, but their pasts are brutal and devastating; I can see why it took them so long to get together.
This story is not for the faint of heart; it has dubious consent and what I would term BDSM medium, but one memory Razer has, this nightmare is really emotionally charged. I think this story is well done and is a must read for male on male romance readers. You just have to be brave enough to read it.
