Vampire Wilson North is watching his former lovers get married. He’d been in a car wreck and almost lost his immortal life, and now he knows he has been going about his life all wrong. Wilson finds himself wanting a mate of his own. When he meets Garrick Forester, a Magia (wizard), he realizes he is his blood mate. Garrick Forester has always been a Dom. He owns an exclusive BDSM club in Paris. He knows if he can tame Wilson, they will have the love of a lifetime. He just has to tame him first. Breath Me In by Lex Valentine is a wonderful addition to the Tales of the Darkworld series. While this book can be read on its own, it would be better if you read this series in order. The books will be more meaningful and you will get to know Will and his story. I wanted Wilson to have his happy ending; he might have been arrogant and selfish before but he has more than learned his lesson about his behavior. Garrick is just the Dom to tame him; he is strong but loving. I liked Garrick’s strength; he really came across as someone who could take anything Wilson dished out. Wilson almost died, and for a vampire this is a real moment, to realize you can die. This made him realize he was going to have to make some changes, which makes Wilson a new man. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been reading the Tales of the Darkworld; I think you will fall in love with Wilson and Garrick too. |
