Gordon has always wanted Ben, a famous self-absorbed movie star who has never noticed Gordon. When Ben finally notices him, Gordon thinks its true love. But Ben isn’t everything he seems, and it will be Gordon’s best friend who picks up the pieces and teaches him what real love is all about. Stardust by Claire Thompson is the fourth book in The Solitary Knights of Pelham Bay; while I haven’t read the other books in the series, I was able to read this book without any problems. However it has made me want to go back and read the previous three books so I could meet all of the great men I have missed. Gordon is a romantic and has romanticized his crush on Ben. When Ben falls short of his dreams, he is more than disappointed. But who knew love had always been with him and he just never noticed? This book reminds me of real life; sometimes we don’t what is right in front of us. When Gordon finally looks, he’s in for the love of a lifetime. |
