Steve Williams has just had a prisoner escape during transfer, the same prisoner who had beaten up his wife. Steve is hell bent on finding the escaped fugitive and bringing the scum bag to justice. If he has to join forces with a criminal mastermind to do it, so be it. Ty Aris is on the FBI’s most wanted list, who better to catch a criminal than a master criminal. Though Steve has a tough choice, he can arrest Ty and loose Kyle or take a chance on Ty and get the revenge he so dearly wants. Hunting Season by J.E Taylor is A Steve Williams Novel. It’s a mainstream romance with some hot FBI/cop action thrown in. This mystery drama had me at the first page. It’s an action packed adventure which kept me wanting to find out more. Steve is a very alpha character; he’s strong, he’s trained to be deadly and he loves just as hard as he plays. He gives everything he has to his wife. I found this really refreshing; seeing a character who’s married and deeply in love with his wife. This is a part of a series, but I was able to pick this up without reading the prior books. I will now be looking for the other books in the series because this one was really fun and I always wanted to find out what was just around the corner for Steve. He has a penchant for danger and excitement and life doesn’t let him down, he gets plenty of it. I would recommend this book to any mystery lover who loves to have a hot special agent thrown into the story too. |
