The eldest son of a prestigious House, Nevan has had his life mapped out for him. A Tevarian warrior, he only knows honor and duty. Seena is a fighter for the BloodRing; she has known only pain in her life. She is also human. Nevan is to mate with Farana, a Tevarian female he has no feelings for. She doesn't excite him sexually, not that any mild-mannered female of his species would. While celebrating on a Pleasure Satellite with his family and that of his future wife, a human female BloodRing fighter grabs his attention. She is not meek and flighty; she is bold and defiant and makes his blood boil and his body hard. Nevan arranges for Seena to fight him for a little wager—if she wins, she gets her freedom; if he wins, he gets her for the rest of his time on the satellite. Will Seena accept Nevan's bet? Pleasure Satellite by Danielle Monsch is a super hot story. Nevan is the epitome of tall, dark, and dangerous. I really liked Nevan because he wanted to do what was expected of him but he also wanted to be happy. I wanted Seena and Nevan to be able to be together. Seena was so strong willed and had accepted her fate as a fighter. She was perfect for Nevan. Ms. Monsch has created a fantastic book with well written characters and a unique and interesting plot. I do think the book ended a little too abruptly and would have liked an epilogue. I would like see this story continue and would definitely read another book by Ms. Monsch. |
