Rayne Everest is a top model. He has a life that anyone would want. In his arrogance, he slaps one of Gods of Chaos. Biggest mistake of his life. His beauty and wealth are taken from him. Dumped on the streets, with no idea of how to take care of himself, he has thirty days to learn his lesson.

Dante Luca finds Rayne hiding on a construction site. Rayne just wants to use Dante at first for a hot meal and a place to stay, but soon he finds himself falling hard for the man.  There is one stumbling block; Rayne wants his old life back and Dante wants nothing to do with it.  When he is faced with the choice, will Rayne choose love or wealth?

Devil Did Grin starts off the Gods of Chaos series by Gabrielle Evans.   I found this one to be a smart and fun read.  I like the irony that permeates Rayne's life.  It kind of goes back to the old saying of be careful how you treat others, because it may come back to haunt you.  Rayne goes wrong by mistreating others and taking for granted the good life he has. When he is forced to take a really good look at himself, can he see how shallow he was?

Dante is a hard working man. He doesn’t have a lot of money, but he is honest and kind, even taking in a homeless man who is down and out.  Rayne could learn from Dante if he just can open up his heart. I liked this story; it had a great feel to it, and the writing was really well done.  The hotter-than-sin romance didn’t hurt either. I would like to see where this series goes in the future and look forward to the next release in the Gods of Chaos series.
