Randy Mallory wants to adopt a child from India. He had planned to do this with his partner before he was killed in a car crash.  Now he is going alone to bring back the child he has always dreamed of.

Ben Ballard is a Peace Corps volunteer who runs the orphanage. He gives Randy alone time to get to know his new son, but Ben would like to give Randy more than just his professional concern. Can Randy open up his heart again to love?

Comfort and Joy by Selina Brody is a sweet and touching love story. Randy has lost the love of his life and cannot get over it. He wants to fulfill the wish he and his partner both had to have a family. He is lucky to beallowed, as a single parent, to adopt a child, but he finds more than just a child half way around the world.  He finds Ben.

This story was so touching it brought tears to my eyes. I really hope to read more form Selina Brody in the future.  If her other books are anything like Comfort and Joy, I know I will love them.
