Sebastian is a Delta wolf. He is the council’s hired gun so to speak, like all other Delta wolves. He cannot stay in a pack due to his abilities and the effect he has on other wolves. Always on the outside, he lives for the day when he can finally have mates of his own and a family. He has never had much use for Vampires or humans. Vampires killed his parents when he was ten years old and humans weren't worth even thinking about. That is untill the council makes him investigate an Alpha holding a human captive. When his mission blows up in his face and he is captured by the rogue Alpha, Sebastian finds one of his mates in Dobry, the human the Alpha holds captive. Now, he has to figure out how to entice a human who has been abused by wolves into a relationship with the baddest of wolves. When they are both rescued by the vampire Alastar, Sebastian can't abide the fact that a vampire is his other mate. Can the threeof them get past their fears and hatred to find love and happiness with the people they were least likely to pick as mates? Stormy Glenn and Joyee Flynn’s Mating Game is the second in the Delta Wolf series. I loved this one so much more than the first installment. The characters and premise are really well done. We have Sebastian, a tough wolf in need of his mates to keep him sane. Dobry is an abused man being held captive in a cage by werewolves. Alastar, a young vampire sent by his clan to check out the Alpha, finds his mates in carrying out his mission. I loved the connection between Dobry and Sebastian the most; that one was toe-curling. Alastar has his moments too. This is a wonderful story that isn't just about love, but about accepting people for who they are and loving out side of the box. All three have hurtles to get over in order to find each other and the love the three of them are destined to share. They have quite the journey but learn that through love that anything is possible. When you're in the mood for a steamy romance with three sexy, but very different men, pick up Mating Game. I am looking forward to the next addition to the Delta Wolf series. I want to see where these amazing writers take me next. |
