She never expected to meet her mate by attending this meeting, let alone walk into the mess the Pacific Pack has become under the poor leadership of her new Alpha who happens to be her new brother in law. Nick Lawrence deals with most of the pack issues for Pacific Pack as its Enforcer. His brother Ben is Alpha. Although Nick knows he is much more alpha than Ben, he’s content being the Beta and Enforcer so his life has some privacy. His life takes a drastic turn when he meets Tracy Warden at the mediation and knows immediately that she’s his mate. She’s nothing like most women he’s attracted to with her piercings and tattoos, but once his wolf senses her, he’s committed for life. Nick and Tracy need an Anchor, a were who will have Tracy once to ground her after mating and never touch her again. Gabe Murphy has never volunteered for this pleasurable duty before, but he’s so attracted to Tracy that he offers his services. If this is his only chance to have her, then he’ll take it. What none of them know is that this “anchor bond” is so much more… With the Pacific Pack in more trouble than Nick knows and a werewolf Mafia gaining power in the National Pack, things are more complicated than Nick, Tracy and Gabe bargained for. Tri Mates is another wonderful book in the Cascadia Wolves series by Lauren Dane. The intrigue gives these books a whole new dimension. There were so many twists and turns in the plot that I never knew what was coming next. Nick is such a charming playboy that you can’t help but love. Gabe is a much quieter Alpha male, yet he is intriguing in ways Nick is not. Tracy is just a kick butt woman who loves to let her men have control in bed, but only in bed. She is funny, loyal, loving and forgiving. They make a fascinating set and you’re left wanting more of their story. I literally can’t decide if the next in the series should continue their story or move on to the next couple. Of course, I’m waiting impatiently for Cade’s story who is Alpha of Cascadia pack…. Lauren Dane is on my auto buy list and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
