Jamie Everson was trying to get his brother Nicky to meet his new police partner Troy. Nicky, still suffering from the abuse his latest boyfriend has heaped on him, is avoiding his older brother. He doesn’t want the I told you so he knows is coming. When Troy finally meets Nicky, he finds everything he ever wanted in the man standing in front of him. He accepts Nicky just the way he is; no one in Nicky’s life has ever done that before. The chemistry between them is off the charts, but when Nicky’s ex refuses to let Nicky go, it is Troy who must protect him before it is too late.

Picture Me Perfect is the prequel to Sammy Dane by Stormy Glenn. This is a must read. Nicky’s and Troy’s story had me at page one. I adored how Nicky loves embroidery and making his home his. He is happy being a house husband. This gets him made fun of a lot with his brother and boyfriends.  Troy is looking for a person who can be his forever. When he sees Nicky, he knows Nicky is for him. He doesn’t care that Nicky wants to be a house husband. He loves him just the way he is.  Troy is a protector as well, so when Nicky is in danger, he will do anything to protect his little man.

I loved that Ms. Glenn made me fall in love with her characters. The emotional pull drew me in, and the characters made me want to hang on for the entire ride. I really loved being swept away.  Nicky and Troy are characters you will adore and want more of! Nicky has a knack for getting into trouble and Troy is just the man to save him. When you want a romance that will be one you never want to put down, read Picture Me Perfect.
