Gar Stitt is a bounty hunter. He was promised this job would be a quick in and out mission. It was turning out to be anything but quick and easy. Captain Faolan Wolf is a prolific space pirate, very good at his crimes. And loves every minute of his illegal activities. He is very hard to catch in the act. He also turns Gar on more than any man or woman that he has met before. When it turns out Faolan has something Gar's boss needs, the bounty hunter and the bounty are in for a space adventure of a life time. They must get Faolan’s acquisition to Gar’s employer before the bad guys get it. Now it is a game of life and death proportions, and Gar is finding himself falling for Faolan’s charms as well. This job just got a lot more complicated all the way around. No Quarter by Christine D’Abo is a space adventure with a spicy twist. I loved Gar's character; he is strong, determined and darn sexy. He is good at bringing in the bad guys, but this mission is blurring the lines between the bad guys and the good guys. When we first meet him, Faolan comes off as arrogant and sex-starved, but he turns out to be much more than that as the book goes on. I loved the layers to his personality; they made him both annoying and lovable at the same time. When you want adventure, romance and some hot manlove, you want No Quarter; this book delivers in spades, and it does it in all the ways that matter. |
