Jonny is feeling old and useless. He is a vampire that's been around a long time and feels that he's seen it all. He runs a local night club called Bloodrose. Humans, vampires, and weres are all welcome there. When Jonny suspects a werecat of breaking into the offices at the club, he wants to know more about the mysterious kitty and what he wants. Jonny catches the kitty on the second night and makes a deal. He will give kitty the files he wants if the kitty agrees to be his for six weeks.

Luc is the mysterious kitty in question. He needs a file that Jonny has. This file might just save Luc’s life. He agrees to Jonny’s terms because he would agree to anything to get this file.

After just a week with Luc, Jonny knows he cannot let the sleek kitty go. He must now help Luc stay alive and prove to him that he is his mate and wants him forever.

Julia Talbot’s Belling the Cat is a hot paranormal romance you will not want to put down. I certainly had a hard time putting it down, that's for sure!  I love the character of Luc. Luc is a cat shifter. He does all the things cats do - he goes after anything shiny, likes high places, and loves his neck petted. It was so cute to see a male human kitty. I loved it. He is so endearing. Jonny is a vampire that has seen it all. Or so he thinks. Then he gets his very own pet and learns a few things he didn’t know and gets a new perspective on life. The emotional pull of this story kept me riveted and I will be looking for more books by Ms Talbot in the future. If this novel is anything to go by, I'm sure to love her other work!  When you want a romance that takes you for a walk on the wild side, you want Belling the Cat.
