L.A. Day has penned a wonderful futuristic love story with Companion Operation. I loved the character of Jewel - she is strong, feisty and sexy - all at the same time. Reece is a strong Alpha hero who makes you want to get to know him, in and out of the bedroom.  I really loved the premise of this story and hope to see more of this series in the future.  I'm dying to know what will happen to the first mate in this book!

Hotter than Hell by Regina Carlysle 

Ellie Grand is tired of being dumped. She's just been dumped in a club by her latest boyfriend. She knew from her best friend Sam that she should not have given this man the time of day, but she figured he would be different.  Instead, the man dumped her for someone prettier, younger, better in bed. Now Ellie has come home to Sam to lick her wounds. Sam has been her best friend for a year now. He is the man she dreams of having a relationship with but will settle for friendship if that is all she can have with him.  Sam is tired of being just Ellie's friend. He has wanted Ellie for a long time now, but he has let her get over a bitter divorce and let her find her wings. Now, he is tired of waiting; he is going to show Ellie that he is everything she needs in a forever man. 

Hotter than Hell is a tender sweet romance that I didn’t want to see end. Regina Carlysle does an amazing job of bringing the right amount of sweetness and heat together to make a short sassy story that you will want to re-read over and over again.  I found the character of Sam to be sexy, sweet and HOT.  Ellie has been hurt, but her willingness to keep putting herself out there is so brave. She is a character you want to see more of.

Nadia Seduced by Madison Hayes 

Nadia has been a whore now for awhile. Her husband prostituted her to his friends, and when she escaped him, she made a life for herself as a whore on her own terms. She doesn’t do love; she just does sex for money. When a stranger who is sexy enough to turn her on shows up at her door, she knows she should turn him down.  After all, sex isn’t about being turned on; it's about money. But she finds herself saying yes.  What Nadia doesn't know is that this stranger has an agenda of his own, one that will either shatter her or give her the happily-ever-after she so richly deserves.

Nadia Seduced was one of my favorite stories in this anthology. I loved the depth of emotion I felt for Nadia, and I loved her mysterious, ingenious seducer. I won’t spoil the story for you and tell you more but I guarantee you will love him as much as I do.

Silent Abandon by Aubrey Ross 

Starla Landry is thinking about a one night stand with a man she has met online, but never face-to-face. She is tired of lying men and their betrayals. She loves the freedom and the power her online relationship gives her. Cole is more than just Starla's co-worker. He's secretly her online friend as well.  When she suggests a one night stand, Cole says yes. He wants Starla on any terms, but when a one night stand becomes more, will his secret lies be the end of their budding relationship? 

Aubrey Ross gives an office romance with a modern twist in Silent Abandon. I loved how this story was such a sign of the times, with all the Internet romances that go on. Do you really know who is on the other side of the screen and would you agree to have sex with him or her for real? Starla is adventurous and brave to even think of doing that. Cole knows who he is meeting and now that he has the chance, he is not above lying to get the woman of his dreams.  Silent Abandon will have you believing in true love and happy endings all over again. 

Stick Up by Brigit Zahara 

Monica Carrington thinks she is going in for a normal day at work. That is, untill two sexy men pass a stick-up note to her and hold up the bank. Not only that, they take her hostage and carry her off to a cabin in the woods. She would be scared ,but she recognizes one of the men as an old flame from college.  Now she is wondering just what being held up and taken hostage has in store for her. 

Stick Up has scenes some readers might not feel completely comfortable with. There is forced intercourse in this story that might make the average reader feel ill at ease. The basic story though is pretty good. Monica gets to be reacquainted with some old college buddies in a very carnal way. Can a kidnapping lead to love?  You're going to have to read Stick Up to find out! 

Flavors of Ecstasy, Volume 4 has some very outstanding stories in it. There are Alpha males to fall in love with and heroines with spunk and a sense of adventure you can admire. I did find a couple of the stories to be a little too uncomfortable for my liking, such as but not limited to forced sex scenes, BDSM, and allusions to rape. However, for the most part, this is one sweet anthology, one I have put on my keeper shelf to re-read for fun.
