Stormy Glenn has penned an emotionally charged love story about trust and love in A Promise Given.  I loved the character of Cooper.  He is strong; he is a protector, a good person that has had some horrible things happen to him. He has overcome so much on his own but needs Alec to overcome what is happening now.  Alec has been through a living hell himself.  His coming to terms with it and telling Cooper has taken him ten long years. Now he has grown up and is facing his demons.  Hopefully it is not too late for his relationship with Cooper.

When love is true, it can withstand even the worst things.  Alec and Cooper will tug at your heartstrings and make you believe in true love conquering all.  A Promise Given will be a novel you will not forget and every M/M lover should have on their keeper shelf.
