When Sean walked out of Chloe’s life she was devastated. For an entire month she walked around as if caught in a horrible dream. Now, six months later, he comes back into her life, asking for another chance. Since he never told her why he left, she’s not sure she can give him the second chance that he’s asking for… Sean was used to having everything that mattered to him taken away. The day he realized that Chloe was more important to him than anything ever before, he was terrified and left. Now he’s come to realize that the only place he truly belongs is with her, if she’ll have him. Between Floors is well written and the story flows beautifully. The strength of the emotions experienced by Sean and Chloe brought tears to my eyes. Their pain and insecurity were touching and earnest. Hearing the story of Sean’s sad and lonely past pulled at my heart strings and had me hoping that Lia Sebastian would give him the happy ending that he deserved. I highly recommend reading Between Floors. Not only are the characters and story well developed, the chemistry between Sean and Chloe is electric.
