Bobby, now a young adult, has grown into himself and gone off to college. But something is affecting his ability to create the masterpiece of art required for his graduation and he's stuck with trying to determine the reason for his mental block. The reason might have to do with his best friend Kenny. When Bobby receives a request to come home and run the family wine shop, he agrees without pause. The kicker was he wouldn’t be working alone - Kenny would be there, forcing them to work close together - all made difficult after parting on not so amicable terms. Kenny knew he was wrong for distancing himself from his best friend Bobby and now that Bobby's returning home, Kenny hopes to regain the close relationship they once shared. ife hasn’t changed that much but with mystery surrounding the shop, Kenny and Bobby will need to work together to get to the bottom of it. Uncorked by Andrew Grey returned me to the lives of Sean, Sam, Bobby, Mark, Katie, Laura and introduced me to Kenny and a new loveable pet. It was a pleasure seeing the level of personal and emotional growth of Bobby and how his talent showcased his journey as a young man - how he handled abandonment and searched for forgiveness all while struggling to find himself. The relationship between Bobby and Kenny reeled me in. Add interfering parents and Andrew Grey had me laughing out loud. These two young lovers proved that while finding a balance miles apart is difficult, it can be worth it in the end. I’d recommend Uncorked by Andrew Grey to any number of friends. |
