Fane Baron is an honorable man filled with sorrow and guilt for taking the life of his best friend. As part of a united group of warriors, he’d taken his oath seriously and practiced a code of ethics few others would have been able to live up to. When he finds his flight plans have changed, he doesn’t anticipate meeting a woman like Edy Adair or the need that would slam into him during their trip. Edy Adiar is in a pickle. Stuck on the plane with a man who should be her enemy, she finds that the mate hand-picked for her may not do at all. Sexual tension ripples through her when Fane is around. The news that he took her cousin's life adds more complication to the situation. A Panther’s Flight is a story that shows what it’s like to love and be afraid that love alone may not be enough. J Hali Steele brought out the depth of the story. Although I enjoyed it, I would have liked to have seen more emotion. I felt compassion for the heroine and hero. What I didn’t feel was engrossed in the story. However, I am looking forward to seeing more of J Hali Steele’s work. |
