The Fire Inside by Julia Talbot is a mysterious fiery read that you will not forget. I love the character of Ty. He is young, innocent, and old and wise all at the same time. He has never had many friends or family. But he knows Nick is his. The ability to make fire has been scary to him and comes with a price, but it doesn’t seem so bad with Nick in his life. Nick has always done what he has had too. A job is a job. He is cynical, but recognizes Ty for who he is to him. Nick doesn’t believe in magic or special powers but Ty might be able to convert him. The Fire Inside will keep you guessing at what is coming on the next turn. The fiery heat with Ty and Nick will keep you very warm while reading this story.
