Spank Me Once is an anthology from the darker side of BDSM. If you thought spanking was BDSM light, you have to read Spank Me Once and find out just how dark spanking can be. Master storytellers, Stormy Glenn, Jude Mason, Jenna Byrnes, and Martin Delacroix will take you on adventures to remember. Spank Me Once for this reviewer was sure an eye opener.

There are two stories that particularly stand out to me for very different reasons. The first is Stormy Glenn’s New Year’s Resolutions. Here you meet the cheeky Jamie. He loves to be spanked--he is just looking for the right man to make it full-time. Simon is a dark Dom. He is looking for the perfect sub. Together they have intensity that will leave you wanting more of these two! I loved how bratty Jamie is. He just made me laugh at his antics. He so needs Simon, and trust me--Simon is more than Dom enough for this bratty sub! When you want to smile and enjoy a fine story, you want New Year’s Resolutions.

The next story stands out because it is out of my comfort zone completely. This is Serving Lisa by Martin Delacroix.  This is the story of a married couple looking for a slave boy. And they mean slave when they say slave. Total humiliation, eating out of dog dishes, having dog food, and being totally humiliated is the slave’s kink.  This was not the story for me. I was pretty much over this story after two paragraphs. But if you like dark, dangerous humiliation, you should read Serving Lisa--it has it in spades.

Overall I found Spank Me Once a roller coaster read. It has some shining bright points and some real low points. But if you are willing to travel to the dark side, you should pick up Spank Me Once--it is a ride you will not forget.
