Playing with Fire by Jodi Lynn Copeland Lincoln Gabriel was a fire fighter. That is until an accident took his sight temporarily. Now he is scared to get back on the ladder and be what he was meant to be a fire fighter. Erica Donelson is Linc’s best friend and used to be married to his best friend before the man left her with out explanation. Now Erica is the woman Linc cannot forget. She keeps trying to get him to follow his dreams and be a fire fighter again. But Linc isn’t so sure if he did he would have Erica any more. She has vowed off fire fighters. How can he go back to the job he loves if it means loosing the woman he now loves? Jodi Lynn Copeland brings emotional heat to a new level with Playing with Fire. I loved the sexy way Erica convinces Linc to do what she wants. She is a modern woman not afraid of using her body to get what she wants. Also we learn a very important lesson about double sided sticky tape in this book every woman needs to know. Linc is scared to go back to his passion. He has lost his sight to it and almost his life - he knows it is a risky job. And knowing Erica doesn’t date fire fighters just seals it for him. What will Erica do to convince him his passion is worth following? All of his passions? Men on Fire is a hotter than sin book! All of the stories in this novel mesh very well together so you do not feel the book is disjointed, which I really appreciated. This novel has sex that has emotional levels that really heat you up! This is one novel that delivers on all fronts and should be on everyone’s keeper shelf. Warning: keep this one in a fire proof container its red hot! |
