Jeremy Lawson is through with the club scene. He has just come out of a bad relationship with a man who was cheating on him. Then Jeremy meets David. David March can’t have the one he wants, so he has come to the bar to get what he can. Jeremy is more than willing to have a quick roll in the hay in the back of his truck with David. After all, a man sure beats his own hand in easing his need. But the more the two men talk, the more in common they seem to have and the thought of a one night stand goes out the window. David, however, is running from someone who wants to kill him, and has enough baggage to weigh down anyone; can the two come to terms with their differences and fall in love? Will David be alive to make a choice? Hidden Hands has intrigue, action, and hot man love delivered the way only Shayla Kersten can, fast and hot! Jeremy is a police officer with a heart for strays. David is a stray who needs help. He has so many skeletons in his closet it is a wonder he can close the door. He has had more than his quota of bad happen, so Jeremy is a surprise to say the least. I loved the chemistry between David and Jeremy. I only wish this novel never had to end! I look forward to reading more Shayla Kersten novels in the future. |
