Ellen Meyers has nothing but bad memories of Valentine’s Day.  Her father left her mother on that day and she feels it’s been downhill ever since.  Dreading that she must-attend a party given by a man she was once attracted to and his girlfriend, she gets all dressed up to go but her heart just isn’t in it.  Envying David and Ariel’s happiness, Ellen comes to the party and runs into Thomas, her car dealer.  What will happen when Thomas has more than car sales on his mind?

First Taste by Lyra Marlowe was a short story that had me wanting to know more about Ellen and Thomas.  Like David and Ariel, Thomas is into BDSM and he proceeds to give Ellen her first taste of loving dominance.  I hope Ms. Marlowe returns to this couple because they have an undeniable chemistry which cries out for a fuller story of their own.
