Baron Munro hasn’t been satisfied with his love life for a while now.  He’s tired of meaningless flings and is ready for something more. The problem is the woman he wants is just a voice on the other end of the phone that he’s never met before.  There’s something about Jasmine Sandler that calls to him.

Jasmine has been as equally affected by Baron since she became his building manager six months ago. The only difference is that she’s better at hiding her feelings. She gives him all sorts of reasons for why they can’t get involved including the fact that they live in different states. When Baron offers to fly across the country to take her out, will Jasmine continue to throw up roadblocks?

I loved Come to Me!  Watching Baron break through Jasmine’s defenses and convincing her to give them a chance was very endearing.  He fell in love with her before they ever met just by talking with her. Initially, Baron called to complain about building issues but was quickly using any excuse to talk to Jasmine. This connection enabled him to pick her out in a crowded airport without knowing what Jasmine looked like.

LaVerne Thompson created a great couple in Jasmine and Baron who shared a lot of touching moments. My only complaint with Come to Me is that it wasn’t long enough.  I wanted more!!! Nonetheless, Come to Me was a great quick read.
