Cody enjoys his job pretty much every day except today – because playing the john to an undercover cop is for amateurs, and boring work. But when he lays eyes on his contact – Pete – things change in a heartbeat, now the problem is going to be keeping his body from reacting while they “play” john and hustler. When Pete ends up following Cody home after one day – against Cody’s best efforts – things go from interesting to incendiary. Will Pete be able to work his way past Cody’s defenses, all the while keeping up his cover and his reputation as an undercover cop?

Chris Owen and Julia Talbot have written a smoking hot, enthralling tale of love, suspense and, of course, wonderfully macho cops! Games People Play: Good Cop, Bad Cop is a must read for all who enjoy hot tales with enchanting characters and impossible situations that resolve themselves into the expected and demanded HEA! Cody is a silent, workaholic who seems to lead a monkish life, not because he lacks anything, but because he is rather socially awkward and determined to have a relationship, rather than a string of hook-ups. Pete, on the other hand, is a go and get’em kinda guy and he wants Cody from the first time he sets eyes on him. Getting Cody might be more work than Pete is used to, but Cody more than makes up for that on the first round. Chris Owen and Julia Talbot should team up more often if the results are going to be such explosively hot tales with characters that will draw you in from their first appearance! Good Cop, Bad Cop is a must have for your library and Chris Owen and Julia Talbot should be added to the list of authors to watch out for, if they aren’t already part of your list.
