Cara Travers hates anything to do with Christmas and she has vowed that as soon as she makes president at her firm, she will put a stop to office celebrations! What her employees need is to get back to work and stop that awful music. They are singing so badly and off key that she grabs her laptop and goes home to do her reports in peace and quiet. When she walks down her hall, she sees that every door but hers is draped in awful wreaths and Nick is hanging mistletoe across his! She does not mind looking at his tight ass, but the decorations have to go!

Nick Frederick is so hot for his neighbor that he buys her a present that just screams her name. He has lusted over Cara for a long time and yet she has turned down all five of his invitations to dinner or whatever. He could not stop thinking about her. Nick sees Cara walking down the hall and he quickly descends his ladder to give her his Christmas present…but is hurt when she refuses it.

Bethany Michaels adds a new spin to the holiday book and movie, A Christmas Carol, with her up-to-date version, where Cara Travers plays Scrooge and does a very good job of retelling this carol in a female version. Old Scrooge had nothing on Cara until a little white hot sex made Cara see the need to change her ways!  A Christmas Cara is a swift and easy read for those who commute to work. I'll take Ms. Michael's version any time, place, or day of the year!
