Tori has a special gift she wants from her husband this year for Valentine’s Day - a boyfriend. Realizing that their marriage is lacking the spark it had in the beginning she knows that if something doesn’t change they will not be able to save their marriage. Tori expects her husband, Christian, will be upset but instead he is interested and wants to help Tori. Tori believes the goal is almost impossible, and without any likely candidates, she isn’t sure she will be able to find what she wants in time by the holiday. Will Tori get what she wants for Valentine’s Day? This is a good book! I liked the idea of a husband being fine with the idea of a wife having a boyfriend, if that would help save their marriage. I enjoyed reading about her “hunt” for her new boyfriend and laughed out loud at parts. The man who became her boyfriend is hot and well worth the wait. I loved the way the husband wanted to watch them - and with a snack no less! However, since the snack was distracting them they had to kick him out of the bedroom before they could get down to business. And boy did they get down to business which was well worth the wait! This was a fascinating idea turned into a great book by Zenobia Renquist. A Valentine’s Gift for Tori is definitely a book to check out! |
