Jake Remora doesn’t believe in love. He does believe in screwing anyone that says yes. He works hard, plays even harder, and leaves a string of lovers in his wake. His first lover left him betrayed and distrustful of love, so now he is a no commitment and sex only kind of guy. Just when things seem to be leveling out for Jake, his old lover unexpectedly shows up. But can love heal betrayal? And will the pain of the past be able to be forgotten twenty years after the fact? Eye Candy is the long-awaited sequel to Man Candy by Amanda Young. You once again are introduced to Jake, the seemingly careless twin, with no commitment, no worries but a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas. Jake has really been betrayed in this book. Kane owes him more than one apology for things of the past. But don’t worry, Kane knows how to make things right in the most delicious of ways. After all, isn’t the best part about fighting the making up after? Kane has to not only convince Jake he’s sorry though, he has to convince the town he comes from that the lies spread as child were absolutely not true. How do you make a small, stubborn town believe something they do not want to believe in the first place? Though it is a sequel, it can be read and enjoyed on its own. This story is a must read!! Amanda Young brings strong emotion and brilliant storytelling together in Eye Candy. You won’t want to miss this book. |
