  | | Lauren Palatino feels ridiculous and fat in her angel Halloween costume. It’s obvious that Evan Kelley, her fiancé, is unhappy about her skimpy angel costume. She thinks Evan might have proposed for all the wrong reasons and not for love, so she's going to call off the engagement. She thinks he's only into her because of who her father is and how being with her can help his career. Evan’s unhappy about the costume all right, but not for the reason Lauren thinks. He thinks it's too sexy, not that she looks fat. He loves her curves, but he doesn’t want other men ogling her luscious body. Lauren flusters him like no one else ever has. He knew from the moment he saw her that he had to have her. From her privileged upbringing he expected her to be some bubble-headed socialite, but when they met he discovered that nothing could be farther from the truth. He wants to let loose and do all the naughty things her body inspires, but he's trying to restrain and treat her like a lady. Maybe it’s time to show her once and for all that her lush curves are an irresistible turn on, and his attraction to her makes him lose all control… Evan’s intensity is delectable and absolutely enthralling as he teaches Lauren not to be ashamed of her curvy body. He worships her body in a way that only a man in love can. I loved seeing him coax her into letting go of her inhibitions and letting her inner vixen come out and play. Once again Lena Matthews has swept me off my feet with her intensely delicious brand of eroticism, reminding me just exactly why she's one of my favorite authors. Anyone who's ever felt like his or her body is less than sexy will love When Angels Fall. |
