Nicole, Lindsay and Sabrina pooled their money together and purchased a pair of gorgeous pink diamond earrings at a celebrity auction.  Since they all chipped into purchase them, the sisters each get to keep the diamonds for equitable periods throughout the year.  These are their stories…

Pink Champagne

Sabrina has always been a wallflower, fading into the background at every social event.  For some reason that she can’t explain, the diamond earrings give her a sense of confidence that she’s never had before.  With her newly found confidence, she starts crashing parties looking for a bit of fun.

Ian West was hired to find a thief.  When he sees the beautiful party-crasher wearing gorgeous pink diamond earrings, he decides to check her out.  He knows that she’s not the thief he’s looking for, but she gives him plenty of ideas, both personal as well as professional.

Susanna Carr is a master at describing scenes that evoke feeling and emotions.  I loved the way that she created parallels in the lives of Sabrina and Ian, which made them a perfect match.  Ian is absolutely to die for and the way that he cares for Sabrina is heartwarming.

A Touch of Pink

Dominic Stark's goal was to alleviate Lindsay of the pink diamond earrings he saw her wearing when she first got out of the hotel’s swimming pool.  He planned for it to be a quick job but once he started spending time with her that changed.

Lindsay loves going on vacation because when she’s away from home, she can let her inner-self free.  While on vacation in Hawaii, she meets Dominic and he changes her life, in more ways than one.

The way in which Dominic turns into a “hunter” had my panties wet from the very start.  His raw dominant side is something that any woman can appreciate and hope to be the focus of at some point in their lives.  He’s a definitely alpha male when it comes to Lindsey and pursuing his prey.  Lindsay is a sweet, determined woman who is a great compliment to Dominic.  I loved A Touch of Pink!

Pink Positive

Every time that Nicole sees Alex Rafferty, she’s made a total fool of herself.  If it wasn’t flashing him by mistake, it was talking to him while her skirt was caught in her pantyhose.  Total, utter humiliation.

Since Alex first saw Nicole, he’s craved.  Whether it was to take care of her or simply ravish her delightful body, he’s barely been able to keep himself in control.

Susanna Carr’s quick wit and dry humor had me almost constantly laughing.  When I wasn’t laughing, I was fanning myself.  The intrigue was very evident in the telling of Nicole and Alex’s story, which added another wonderful dynamic to Pink Ice.  Ms. Carr is a very prolific writer that delivers exactly what her readers want – unique and interesting storylines, full of wonderful characters blessed by deep love and hot sex!

In The Pink

Mercer Whitley-Cooke is a retired pickpocket.  After her fall from grace, she’s determined to get the pink diamond earrings and as long as she follows her plan, she can’t fail.  Detective Tony Jackson is not part of her plan.

Tony left the police force to become a private investigator.  When he sees Mercer at the same party as the pink diamond earrings, he knows that she’s up to something…

Mercer and Tony are both sweet and caring individuals who show you the true meaning of acceptance and understanding.   In the Pink is a fantastic and creative way to end Pink Ice.

I cannot recommend Pink Ice highly enough!  Each story flowed beautifully into the next and each was equally well developed.  There are also incidences from one story woven into the next - Susanna Carr gives knew meaning to the phrase “coming full circle.”  She is definitely an author to watch out for and I excitedly look forward to reading more of her work!
