Love’s Evolution is a collection of 8 sizzling and touching stories of a young couple very much in love.

A House on Chestnut Street:  Chris is an upscale preppy chef in Asheville who also teaches cooking classes; Matt is a tattoo artist and free thinker. They meet in the restaurant parking lot in the spring when Matt retrieves Chris’s dropped wallet and asks him for a date. The attraction is instantaneous, but far more powerful than can be accounted for simply by lust. Instead, the two cannot keep apart from each other. Before long they acknowledge their love and move to a home of their own only three months after their first meeting.

The Cooking Lesson: Bad boy Matt has already interfered in one of Chris’ cooking classes at The Falls restaurant.  Taunting him until Chris had to take him into the pantry in the middle of the lesson. Chris isn’t about to let him interrupt today’s class, which is being televised for a swanky vacation resort report. Matt has other ideas, though.

Autumn’s Music: Chris finds two white hairs and decides that at thirty-seven he is nearly over the hill. It’s Matt’s 25th birthday and he wants a piercing done. It’s good for Matt, but Chris can’t overlook or forget the heat and electricity sizzling between his beloved Matt and the new piercing technician, Rick.

Degrees of Sin: Rick who has expressed his desire for both Chris and Matt, who is totally determined that his life partnership with Chris is permanent, strongly suggests a ménage of the three men, following their Labor Day cookout.

Sweet Life: The addition of Rick to the companionship of Chris and Matt has provided an extra friendship for Chris and exciting sensuality for all three, but now Matt fears that Rick may be developing an emotional component to his affection for Chris.

One Red Cord: Matt is seriously injured in a snowboarding accident and Chris must confront his fears for his partner’s mortality.

With This Ring: The near loss of Matt from the snowboarding accident has convinced Chris that even joint home ownership and years together aren’t sufficient. Chris and Matt undergo a handfasting ceremony to further pledge and cement their love for one another.

Under the Breadfruit Tree: Matt and Chris vacation in Jamaica and learn to enjoy some additional pleasures, such as BDSM.

Ally Blue’s collection of vignettes in the ongoing saga of Chris and Matt is sizzling, steaming, and nearly roasting. It starts out hot and it just turns up the heat page by page. These two men are just precious, and their love is so meaningful and permanent that it puts many real-life relationships to shame. Ms. Blue also adds additional great characters into the plot, such as Chris’ boss at the restaurant, owner Laurie; their neighbors Deb; and everybody’s hot hunk, Rick, piercing artist extraordinaire. The plot themes are realistic and a great framework to hold the incredibly volcanic sensuality. Love’s Evolution delivers exactly what the title promises: the intertwining of two lives through better and worse, ups and downs, joy and turmoil. Get this one and enjoy!
