Cole Winchester is becoming more and more confused about his sexuality so when his girlfriend issues an ultimatum – get married or get out, he leaves, knowing that by marrying her, he’d be condemning them both to a life of unhappiness. Wandering along the beach, he (literally) stumbles across Eric Radcliff, the gangly kid who used to follow him around when they were kids except that Eric isn’t so gangly anymore. He’s gorgeous. Seeing Cole on the beach is like a fantasy come true. Eric has had lots of those – fantasies about Cole – and now that he has a chance to act on them, he’s more than willing but Cole keeps on sending him mixed signals – is he gay or isn’t he? Taboo Desires is a sweet story wrapped in a shroud of burgeoning sexual awareness. Eric is the perfect man to help Cole realize his desires and make them all come to fruition. The sexual tension is supreme and the back-story really adds a lot to the overall storyline. Once again Amanda Young has written a winner!
