When Ryan Ward is set up on another blind date, he isn’t hoping for much and expecting even less so when he first spots Andrew, a perfect replica of a life-sized Ken doll, he is stunned, yet obviously delighted. He wants more than just a one-night stand but he finds it hard to control himself around Drew. Being a single father isn’t exactly what Andrew had planned on becoming but sometimes life changes even the best-laid plans. In Ryan though, he finds everything he’s ever wanted but when your life is in the hands of faith, once again, anything can happen, as a potentially devastating revelation causes him to lose everything. Amanda Young is an exceptional author and Sins of the Past is one of the most touching stories that I’ve read in a long time. Both Andrew and Ryan are wonderful men, both wanting a deeper relationship – to be part of something more meaningful and long-term. In addition to their amazing chemistry, there is almost a soul-deep spiritual quality to this book due to the surprise twist that left me both shocked and teary at its beauty. Sins of the Past is “the full package” in regards to an amazing love story packed with intense chemistry and scorching love scenes. This story is definitely a must-read for your Keeper Shelf.
