Navin Citrakaya is being pursued by Pran, Navin’s brother’s rival. Pran lost to Navin’s brother in the last mate hunt and now he is after Navin and determined to make him pay for his humiliation. Navin must search for a protector to escape the abuse he suffers at Pran’s hands. Navin seeks out Isha Rajendra, a Tigris who lives as a hermit. Navin finds Isha in the woods by his isolated home and asks him for his help. Isha agrees as long as Navin will submit to him. With no choice Navin agrees and is immediately taken by Isha. When they go to Isha’s home, Navin is shocked to find a woman and baby which is clearly Isha’s. Confused and hurt, Navin will learn Isha’s secrets and slowly draw the Isha into his heart. But Pran is not willing to give up his prize. Navin’s Master is Book 5 in the Felidae series by Jade Buchanan and is my favorite book so far. Navin may need help with Pran but he is in no way a weak man. Isha is the quintessential strong, silent type and his care for Navin slowly develops into love. The passion between Navin and Isha blew my mind and their scenes are well written and explosive. The Felidae is one of my favorite series and I cannot wait to see where Ms. Buchanan will take us next! |
