Party-girl Sophie Kincaid has sworn off men because she's tired of being used by them. But when she sees her somewhat drunk straight-laced boss Ian, who really isn't a drinker, in a bar, she starts to believe that maybe she was a bit hasty in swearing men off for good. She knows she shouldn't think of her boss in a romantic sense, but sometimes a girl just can't help herself and a little spontaneity never hurt anyone. Ian just got dumped by his girlfriend and is feeling down, so he goes to a bar, thinking a few drinks might help drown the pain. Problem is, he doesn't drink. When he sees the sexy bartender, he thinks that maybe drinking isn't the solution to curing his ills. Maybe having hot sex with Sophie in the storage room is. Once trapped in the storage room, spontaneous combustion brings these two people together in a heated rush. But can a relationship between a party girl and a straight-laced man work? WOW! It's the only word that I can think of to describe this book. Spontaneous is one hot, sexy read about two people from two different lifestyles coming together for some serious, down and dirty lovemaking. Sophie doesn't think something this good will last, though, but Ian feels she's just perfect for him. Can he really convince her? You'll have to read it and find out. I've not read anything by Karen Erickson before, but this is one author who didn't take long to convince me in wanting to read more of her works! |
