Susan has raised her younger brother Jason since their parents died in a car accident. She has a reputation for being sensible Susan, and is called Sensible Susan. When Jason’s fiancé asks her to be her maid of honor, Susan accepts. One of the errands that Susan is sent on is to check that the menu has not been messed up for the rehearsal dinner. Susan walks into the upscale restaurant and is instantly shocked by the chemistry between her and the man who helps her. He asks her if she has a date to the dinner and sort of finagles his way into a date with Susan. Imagine Susan’s surprise when the time for the rehearsal dinner comes that her date is none other than the infamous owner of the restaurant. Susan and Michael have a whirlwind romance and surprise themselves with the intensity of their instant connection to each other. Michael knows from the first time he lays eyes on her that Susan is for him, and makes his intentions and feelings known from the beginning. This leaves Susan to deal with her own fears that stem from everyone whom she has loved leaving in one way or another. As time passes and the two get closer and closer, decisions have to be made. Can Susan let go of her fears and is Michael too good to be true? Susanna’s Seduction is a beautiful love story. The characters have true to life issues to deal with before they can together but seem to embrace each other, flaws and all. The sexual chemistry will ignite the pages of this book and leave you with 2nd degree burns if you are not prepared and careful. Patrice Michelle creates wonderful characters, witty banter, familiar bonds that are evident in this Italian family, with sex to spare. Susanna’s Seduction will not leave you wanting, except maybe for an Italian of your own. |
