Private Detective Patrick Hess is searching for Margo, the pampered runaway wife of a businessman and has tracked her to a small town in Oregon. But the woman he finds is farming alone in a deserted location. She goes by the name Grace McNeal and there are several things about her that make Patrick wonder if he has the right woman. He presents himself to her as a writer looking for a quiet place to work where he can also gain some experience in farming for his story. He is actually trying to find out where the child Margo’s husband claims she has is. When evidence points to her being a battered woman, Patrick begins to have grave doubts about his mission. Added to the fact that he is falling deeply in love with a woman who will hate him when she finds out the truth, Patrick will have to keep her safe when Margo’s ex-husband uses Patrick to track her. Saving Grace is an emotional tale full of betrayal and hope. Patrice Moore handles the sensitive issue of spousal abuse with tact and talent creating a riveting book. Patrick is an honorable man doing what he must to keep his business afloat and yet, when he learns Grace’s secret he is willing to put himself in danger to keep her safe. The love scenes in Saving Grace have an intimate feel that draw the reader into each encounter. Grace struggles with the fear she has lived with for years and yet she is strong enough to embrace the love she feels for Patrick. She is an admirable woman who deserves to find happiness. Patrice Moore has created a wonderful story! |
