Simon Delamer is working undercover and never has his control been tested as it is when it comes to keeping his hands off of Anis. He’s there to protect her and nothing else but her incredible body and intelligent mind keep on calling to him, tempting him beyond reason.

Anis Anamer is adamant that Simon, her new bodyguard NOT sleep in her bedroom. Not only is he entirely too attractive but he’s completely unaffected by her and that tends to do a number on a gal’s pride. The death attempts are on the rise and Anis fights to hold her people together while Simon struggles to keep her alive. It’s inevitable that they’ll give into their attraction but at what cost?

Poseidon VII is a fantastic follow-up novel to Cyberius III. Once again, S. J. Willing has created a strong female character that women should want to emulate. I love the way the author shared several scenes from both his and hers perspective as it added depth to the moment. Full of action, excitement, intrigue, and a healthy dose of love and eroticism, I was absolutely captivated. Both Simon and Anis are well developed and very memorable characters.

Each of the PIACT novels is a stand-alone in regards to the main character, but the background story and some of the other characters move along with the series and you may miss out on the overall scope of the novel's universe if you don't read both of them. The secondary romance story of Marcella and Raol is superb and had me on the edge of my seat. I desperately hope that they have their own story coming soon! Poseidon VII is a book that I very highly recommend reading.
