Dr. Amber Waithe is proud of her sons.  Genetically engineered to save the human race, they were all physically strong, very intelligent and had steady personalities.  Their purpose was to repopulate the planet after the majority of males have been terminated due to a virus specifically engineered to attack their genes.

Zeke’s sole purpose was to spread his seed far and wide, bringing his fertile offerings to every woman that would have him and he loved his job.  When he crash-lands on a planet subjected to hostile weather conditions, he worries that he might not make it.  When he passes out only to awaken in the care of an angel, he thanks his fortune and sets out to do what he does best…seduce.  He’s never known love but has heard stories of what life was like before the virus was unleashed.  Stories of one man and one woman, together, and in love.

Angela is a healer among her people.  Her people sought refuge on a neighboring planet before the virus was released and so her colony has remained unaffected, most importantly the males, even though she has never seen another man quite like Ezekiel.

Sons of Amber:  Ezekiel is the beginning of what is sure to be a fascinating series.  Bianca D’Arc has penned an interesting story with a creative plot and interesting characters.  I would have better enjoyed this book had the emotions and feelings of Zeke and Angela been developed prior to them becoming intimate.  I felt that their connection was significant but did not feel the intensity even though the love scenes were hot and erotic.  I can’t wait to read Michael’s story.  Yum!
