Tom Stabler dreams of Susan Swenson each night as he holds his gun and sweats in the jungles of Vietnam. When he is sent stateside, he rushes back to the home of his childhood, but time has not stood still while he was gone. When he finally sees Susan, she looks more beautiful than ever. He wants to rip off her clothes and make love to her on the still warm hood of her car, but he shoves his hands in his pockets knowing that she deserves more.

Dee Knight creates a warm, sweet, haunting, and romantic story that stayed with me long after I read the final page. The sexual scenes just took my breath away. Such love that Susan had for Tom just made me want to cry. Coming Home is a brilliant book that only briefly touches on a war that many condemned. Tom gives readers a glimpse of the horrors man is capable of. It was my pleasure to read this book and I am sure all readers will enjoy it as I did.
