Morgan, a Druid with psychic abilities, is brought in to help with the investigation of the Commanders kidnapped son, Jamie. Chief Inspector Dallafield doesn’t hold much faith in psychics, but with the Commander being the one requesting her assistance he begrudgingly agrees to work with her. When Morgan walks into the Chief’s office, Dallafield is immediately enchanted with her, regardless of her strange beliefs and questionable “abilities”. Dallafield cannot seem to stop his attraction to Morgan, nor can he stop the dangerous thoughts that keep filling his head. Born the son of a Duke, getting involved with Morgan could only lead to the ruin of his reputation, and an end to his career. Something he has no intention of letting happen. As events unfold the Chief Inspector must decide which is more important - Morgan or his life without her in it. Druid's Daughter by Jean Hart Stewart is a delightful love story. Morgan is a Druid whose beliefs make her an outcast with society, but with her psychic abilities is nonetheless asked to help with society problems. She does this willing as her beliefs will let her do no less. As the attraction between the two unfold, Morgan begins to doubt she will be able to do what is right, and stay away from the inspector. The Chief’s inabilities to look beyond society’s prejudice have you ready to wring his neck. To find out if these two headstrong characters get beyond “the rules” you will have to read and find out for yourself. I can assure you will not be disappointed. **This is the first book in the Garland of Druids series** |
