Vision has experienced much and fought hard to accomplish what he has. When an old lover shows up, asking him for help, his past threatens his present and he balks. Drawing strength from his driver, Hanz, he enters into a new relationship. One in which the strong Master is able to exorcise his true desires as the willing submissive. Hanz has felt the need in Vision. When Vision finally comes to him, demanding his dominance, his love for him overflows. He has a secret though. A secret that would change both their lives, forcing Hanz to leave Vision. Or even worse, jeopardize Vision’s life. After reading Castoffs, I was very interested in Vision’s story. I didn’t imagine so much angst in his past and was drawn in immediately to his excess emotion. While the relationships in the Master of the Lines series may seem to border on fickle at times, the underlying message is deep and true. Lineage is an intriguing story that will drawn you into the dark world of the vampire and open your eyes to more than just the typical dynamics present in the average vampire story. For that alone, it would be worth reading but Angela Fiddler is a talented author and goes way beyond the average and far into the unique. |
