On the night of her engagement party, Sara sees a man standing in the shadows.  While her mind tells her one thing, her heart tells her is another.  Even though Tristan disappeared six years ago, accepting his death has not been easy.

Tristan McKade died six years ago and no matter how much he wants to change that, he can’t risk his role as operative in the Supernatural Control Squad because too much depends on his success.  As a “reborn” genetically enhanced soldier, his mission is to stop a rogue vampire on a killing spree.  When Sara becomes the vampire’s next target, he intercedes in order to save her life and in turn reveals his very undead status.

Missing in Action is an intense, powerful, and very moving story by Amanda Young.  Neither Sara nor Tristan were able to escape the pain of being separated and their eventual reunion is both poignant and heart-warming.  Amanda Young is a very talented writer and weaves together a fast-paced, heart pounding suspense-filled plot with a deeply emotional love story that’ll keep any reader engaged from beginning to end.  With an ending that had my heart stuck in my throat, Missing in Action earned a spot on my Keeper Shelf.  I highly recommend reading this amazing story.

Shame is a fantastic secondary character that also adds a lot of this story and I anxiously look forward to reading his story soon!
