Lorenna lives a simple life in Texas running Wild Rose, her bed and breakfast. She grew up with a single mother and a movie star father who never had any time for her. Her father’s indifference to her caused Lorenna to disdain actors. When her father died, reporters searched her out, but Lorenna shunned the spotlight.

Jamie Crawford decides to take a break from his life as a famous Hollywood actor. When his best friend cancels his stay at Wild Rose Bed and Breakfast Jamie books himself a room there. To Jamie, Wild Rose was simply supposed to be a place to visit as an escape. He never expected to find the love of life.  Jamie tells Lorenna he is a vet when he discovers what her relationship with her father has done to Lorenna but he knows he will have to come clean sooner or later. When Jamie’s friends come to the inn Jamie realizes it will have to be sooner.

When Lorenna finds out what Jamie’s true profession is will she ever be able to trust him again? And will she be able to see beyond the profession to the man she fell in love with?

The Inn Crowd is a beautiful love story. Denise Belinda McDonald has created a couple deeply in love who must learn to trust each other and who are both willing to sacrifice for the other’s happiness. The love scenes are poignant and well written, but it is the emotional issues that really make The Inn Crowd a truly wonderful story.  I really enjoyed this beautiful story from Denise Belinda McDonald and highly recommend reading The Inn Crowd.
