Liv Davis has a plan for her life. She wants to date a man who wants to get married and have kids; creating a life with her. Her most recent boyfriend is not in the running after she finds him cheating on her. Liv decides to only date men who share her goal.

Marc Chase desires Liv and is no longer content to simply be the baby brother of her ex boyfriend. After Liv warns Marc what she wants in a man he backs off for a bit but soon decides that he is the man to give her what she wants. Marc begins to woo Liv and it isn’t long before they are heavily involved. However, insecurities and mistrust color what would otherwise be a perfect relationship.

Chased is the third book in the Chase Brothers Series by Lauren Dane. It is an intense story with a deep underlying theme of trust and sharing. I enjoyed every second of this book. Liv never quite recovers from the loss of her mother as a young girl. She is further hurt by her father’s move to Florida and, most recently, walking in on her boyfriend in bed with another woman. All of these events shaped her into a woman afraid to trust in love that's given to her.

I loved that Lauren Dane allowed Marc to step back and consider if he can give Liv what she needs. He really took the time to think about a relationship with Liv and when he decides to woo her, oh, my heart melted! While Marc is very sweet with Liv, their relationship is intensely sexual and each time they make love it's hotter than the last. I strongly urge everyone to read this book. You will not regret it.
