Julie works as a nurse in the emergency room at night which is where she met a police officer named Roger. They have been trying to hook up but their schedules keep them apart. They finally have the same night off and are looking forward to spending time together. The night before their big date Julie is attacked on her way home and she awakens hours later with her life changed-she is now a vampire! Her new status as a vampire will not keep her from her date with Roger. After all, what are little things like fangs compared to breaking a long dry spell of no sex? 

Roger cannot wait to go out with Julie. He feels he has finally found a girl he can trust after his ex-wife betrayed him. Except now Julie is being secretive and acting strangely.

Sex, Lies & Vampire Hunters is a wonderful story about lust and trust. Julie is funny in her quest to end her celibacy. Roger is a dedicated officer who has been badly hurt by his ex. There are times when he allows what happened in his past color his actions but that just really brings out the fact that he is human. One of the best parts of the book is the desire Julie and Roger feel for each other. Each scene of passion between them written by Myla Jackson is steamy and well written. Adding to the appeal of Sex, Lies & Vampire Hunters are the secondary characters. They add true depth to the story. All fans of vampire stories will love this book!
